Bluuuuuurrrrrrrrgggggghhhh. I mean, I got through The Stand. But that was The Stand.
In terms of “big fat famous novels I feel I really ought to read before I die,” it was either this or Don Quixote. But I’ll save him for 2014–I wouldn’t want to go overboard and do everything at once!

Don Quixote is actually a good novel. Best of luck and waiting for your review of this tome.
